    1) Metal band from Sweden The death of its remaining member in 2005 ended the group, which generally passed unnoticed. 2) American one-hit wonder pop group from Florida. They released an album in 1969 entitled Mercy - Love Can Make You Happy; this peaked at #38 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 chart[1] as a result of the success of their hit single, "Love (Can Make You Happy)". The tune spent two weeks at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and also peaked at #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart. 3) Metal band from Brazil. Formed in 2003, Mercy purportedly recorded a handful of songs, but only released one, "Kingdom of Holiness", which appears on the Extreme Metal compilation "Underground Rot 2" from Dysmorphic Records. The "group," such as it was, has never been heard from again. 4) Queens based rapper affiliated with J-Love. 5) 80s Christian metal band. 6) A French female blues/country-folk singer, from Paris.
